Safeguard Motorhome insurance from swinton

MotorhomeAuction was launched early in 2009 as a resource for helping you to buy or sell a Motorhome in Auction. We are keen motorhomers (is that a new word) owning a lovely old AutoSleeper Rhapsody built on a Talbot Express.

We are aimed at the UK and are UK based. Our services are designed for UK users. However, many Motor Caravanners travel abroad extensively, so we feature travel in Europe, as well as travel in the UK.

We are keen to establish relationships with other Motorhome related sites and organisations. Please get in touch if you want to work with us.

What do we do?
Our main role is to feature access to LIVE online auctions. See the Auction Categories on the Left Hand panel <<<

We also give advice to help you buy or sell at an online auction. Many people claim that it is too risky to buy a high value item online, but buyers must treat it like any other expensive purchase and only buy if you are absolutely sure of what it is you are buying. It is only risky if you place a bid without making certain checks. When you buy at an online auction your bid stands and cannot normally be retracted. Don't bid and then refuse to buy it. This is frustrating to sellers, who still have to pay a fee and then have to re-advertise.

Advice is given to sellers too, although there will always be sellers who refuse to take advice. These are normally the type of person who has no integrity and is happy just to take someone's money in exchange for a substandard item. We tell sellers how to demonstrate that you are not one of these people. We show buyers how to spot these people.
